Drug Location & Scrapyard Taxing Rules
Taxing in Dynasty Roleplay is a privilege reserved for whitelisted gangs.
Where & When Taxing Is Allowed
β Taxing applies at all illegal locations.
You CAN tax civilians selling drugs on the street.
You CANNOT tax civilians at the scrap yard.
Taxing applies at drug harvesting, processing locations and benches as well. β Gangs and free agents CAN also be taxed at the scrapyard.
How Taxing Works
πΉOnly whitelisted gangs are allowed to tax at drug locations.
πΉTaxing must be clearly announced to the individual or group.
πΉIf the gang that owns/runs the illegal location is present, gang members MUST comply to be taxed. Please see the corresponding gang pages to keep informed.
πΉThose being taxed by gangs not owning the location have TWO options:
Comply & Pay β Hand over 50% of the drug-related items in their pockets.
Fight or Flight β Attempt to escape or fight back (allowing for a full robbery if they lose). πΉ If a taxed individual enters their vehicle, the taxing gang may include the vehicleβs inventory in the 50% tax.
Restrictions & Protections
π« No Re-taxing β Once a player has been taxed, they are protected for 2 hours and CANNOT be taxed again during that time.
π« Taxable Items β The only items that are taxable, are the items that you can retrieve from the area that you are taxing in. If you are taxing at White Powder harvesting, you may only take White Powder. Taking anything else will be considered robbery and will result in a strike.
π« No Overtaxing β You may only take up to 25% of the drug items from their pockets (or vehicle, if applicable). Taking non-drug-related items or exceeding 25% is considered robbery and will result in a gang strike and corresponding consequences.
π« No Open Carrying of Weapons at Drug Locations β Weapons should only be drawn when initiating or enforcing a tax or compliant to your lore.
π« All taxes must be logged in the Dynasty Gang Discord tab to prevent double-taxing or violations.
Consequences for Rule Violations
πΈ Overtaxing or taking non-drug-related items will result in a gang strike. πΈ Failure to follow logging procedures or engaging in unauthorized taxing may result in administrative action. πΈ Repeated violations can lead to gang disbandment or removal from gang life.
By following these clear guidelines, gang taxation remains balanced, engaging, and fair for all players. Stay organized, follow the rules, and keep Dynasty RPβs criminal world immersive!
