Drive-By Rules & Engagement Guidelines
Drive-bys are an intense and strategic way to escalate gang conflicts, but they must be conducted within the guidelines to ensure fairness and proper roleplay. The following rules apply to all drive-by engagements in Dynasty Roleplay to maintain balance and realism in gang interactions.
Valid Beef is Required
You cannot pull up and start shooting another faction without established and valid beef.
Drive-bys must be roleplay-driven, meaning there needs to be a clear reason and previous conflict before taking action.
Random or unprovoked drive-bys are strictly prohibited and will result in penalties.
Execution of a Drive-By
A drive-by must be a hit-and-run-attack. This means your faction must shoot while driving past the target and then escape.
You must drive around the opposing faction twice, and on the third drive around is when you can start shooting.
Returning to rob the victims after the drive-by is strictly prohibited. The intent of a drive-by is to inflict damage and send a message, not to loot.
You have 15 minutes to successfully escape after committing a drive-by.
If you evade law enforcement or the opposing gang for 15 minutes, the scene is considered over.
A 2-hour cooldown applies before you can engage the same faction in another drive-by.
If You Are Caught After a Drive-By
If your faction is caught within the 15-minute window, the scene may continue with foot chases, shootouts, or additional roleplay interactions.
However, returning to the original location to rob downed victims is still prohibited, even if captured.
Drive-By Frequency & Limitations
Factions can only execute one drive-by every 2 hours to prevent excessive attacks and promote meaningful conflicts.
A drive-by initiates valid beef, meaning the targeted faction has the right to chase and retaliate immediately.
If they do not catch your faction within the 15-minute escape window, the scene is officially over, and any further engagement must be treated as a new interaction.
Restrictions on Consecutive Drive-Bys
A faction cannot conduct another drive-by against the same group without a direct in-person interaction first.
This means you must roleplay some form of conflict or provocation before launching another drive-by. You cannot just keep attacking without reason.
Vehicle & Participant Limitations
All drive-by participants must use a faction-colored vehicle to ensure clear identification of those involved.
You cannot exit the vehicle during the drive-by unless the driver is killed.
Drive-by actions are limited to:
1-2 vehicles total
Maximum of 7 faction members participating
These rules are in place to maintain balance in faction warfare, ensuring that drive-bys are impactful but not abused. Following these guidelines will enhance roleplay, keep conflicts engaging, and prevent unnecessary rule violations.
